Considering the costing, planning, designing and construction at each stage. From large-scale projects to smaller, each is unique. The Planning and Land Referencing team identify and engage with people and organisations whose property or rights are affected by the development of infrastructure. As an apprentice you could be researching who owns the land, arranging surveys, and communicating with those affected. Developing the skills, you need to be able to assist and advise owners of land, as well as others, with legal rights, restrictions, and interests.

Transport planning looks at the type of travel people and goods choose. For example, highways, rail, air, or water. We have opportunities in the Transport Planning and Planning Development team(s). As an apprentice you will be involved with the planning, designing, and upgrading of this transport infrastructure. WSP uses the latest software to make travel easier, more reliable, and sustainable, both locally and nationally. Whether that be providing more capacity on roads or parking requirements and strategies.
