Brooklyn Tower

Standing at 93 stories and 1,066 feet tall, the Brooklyn Tower is a rising icon among New York’s revered skyscraper collection. With a sleek frame, this skyscraper impresses onlookers and highlights the ingenuity of WSP’s structural engineering practices.

One World Trade Center

The One World Trade Center is the icon of the New York skyline and a landmark like no other. Runners will rarely lose sight of the 1,776-foot structure – the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere – as they push their way to the finish line.

Deutsche Bank Center

Celebrations will extend through Manhattan and past a storied building that houses some of the biggest brands in the country. Formerly known as the Time Warner Center, the 2.8 million square feet mixed-use property houses the New York offices of the German bank, a Mandarin Oriental hotel, the Shops at Columbus Circle and the 1,200-seat “Jazz at Lincoln Center” concert hall.

Central Park Tower

Located on the famed Billionaires Row, Central Park Tower is breaking records as the tallest residential building in the world. WSP deployed its best-in-class design services to help erect the 1,550-foot skyscraper, which greets Marathon runners just before the end of their journey.

2nd Avenue Subway

The completion of the Second Avenue Subway in 2017 is a key milestone in New York’s transit history, offering commuters an efficient travel pathway along Manhattan’s East Side. The line also extends WSP's storied legacy in New York, with the firm originating the design of the city’s very first subway, which opened 120 years ago.

Hip Hop Museum

Slated to open by the end of 2024, the Universal Hip Hop Museum now sits in the Bronx - the place where hip hop began – and will serve as a center of learning and collaboration for history and music enthusiasts. WSP is proud to serve as structural engineer for this highly anticipated cultural center.

Tiffany & Co.

Since 1940, Tiffany & Co’s flagship building has dazzled onlookers and style enthusiasts alike. In 2023, WSP helped complete the landmark’s first full renovation, modernizing the building’s interior and transforming it into one of Manhattan’s largest retail stores at 100,000 feet.

Kosciuszko Bridge

This signature structure connects Brooklyn to Queens and places runners in the center of New York’s carefully constructed skyline. WSP served as the engineer of record for Phase 2 of the Kosciuszko Bridge project, which created a much-needed multifaceted pathway for Brooklyn-bound traffic.

Barclays Center

This world-class arena is home to some of New York’s most cherished sports teams. WSP helped breathe new life into the center’s design and ventilation – delivering a system that brings comfort to visitors of the 18,000-seat facility, all while cutting down on cost and energy use.

Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge

The Verrazano-Narrows Bridge is the 13th longest suspension bridge in the world and the starting point for the NYC Marathon. A key gateway between Staten Island and Brooklyn, the structure was one of the final bridges designed by renowned engineer Othmar Ammann of Ammann & Whitney, now WSP.
