About the Role

  • Role Purpose: The Capacity Enhancer supports the Practice through managing capacities, quality and overall supply chain of Apparel Manufacturing Clients.

    Project Delivery - Managing Apparel Vendors:

    • Manage capacities of the vendors, so that there is no over/under booking of orders for any of the vendors.
    • Assist Apparel vendor in planning the orders and all the resources efficiently, to ensure right product, Right First Time and On Schedule Deliveries
    • Manage the Apparel Vendors in the region, for Efficiencies, Quality, Deliveries and other KPIs updated time to time.
    • Foresee and Raise alerts in case of quality, delivery, or any other exceptions. Also try to mitigate such issues with vendors and client’s local quality/ sourcing team.
  • Service Development –

    • Liaise with client regional Quality/ Sourcing team for coordination required for inspections, and updates.
  • Orders and Client Management –

    • Work in collaboration with On Boarding Manager and Region Manager for hand holding of factories in the region to ensure Factories achieve desired Efficiencies and Quality Levels.
    • Allocating work responsibilities and monitoring progress and quality of Product/ Processes.
    • Manage client and vendor relations.

Qualifications/Must have

  • Education: B.Tech. in Textile Technology, B.Tech. with MBA/ Post Graduate Diploma in Garment Manufacturing Technology.

    Experience: 3-5 Years of relevant experience with leading consulting companies, leading buying/export house, garment manufacturing companies

    Knowledge areas & Skills:

    • Technical/Functional Knowledge
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Good at formulating business strategy and business planning
    • Experience in Business Process Improvement
    • Good at managing team
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, written & presentation skills
    • Should be open to travel on job assignments and spend extended periods away from home base or at client site
