Rebecca Tjaberings provides strategic leadership for our Power sector, which helps clients meet the rising demand for power, maintain secure and reliable energy supplies and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. 

Rebecca is a chartered engineer with 23-years professional experience, 15 of which have been in the power industry in Australia and New Zealand in both consulting and technical project management roles.

During this time Rebecca has had a significant focus on renewable energy development and in strategic asset management for network clients.

She has been with WSP for 11 years, working in the wind and strategic consulting teams in Melbourne, and since 2018 leading the power sector at WSP to support renewable energy developments (hydro, wind, solar, new energy), powering infrastructure and transmission and distribution.

With 3000+ building structures professionals across the globe a key aspect of his role is to facilitate the movement of thought across our various regions for the betterment of our Clients, collaborators and local teams. Harnessing that knowledge base provides us with the ability to drive innovative design no matter the challenge.

Sean has over 20 years’ experience
in the New Zealand and Australian transport markets and is a passionate advocate for the creation of quality transit systems that transform communities and improve people’s lives.

Sean is a specialist in strategic planning and business case development for rail network enhancements, including step-change asset management programs, option selection and feasibility assessments for new corridors and capacity enhancement assessments for existing networks. Sean has led numerous multi-disciplinary projects involving transport and land use planning, operational modelling and rail engineering inputs. Sean currently leads WSP’s Rail and Transit business in New Zealand.
