HISTORY
The iconic Wellpark brewery has been situated in the heart of Glasgow at Duke Street for over 450 years. Hugh Tennent was the first brewer of Tennent’s Lager in 1885, and at the time it was described as a ‘’madman’s dream’’. Since then, Tennent’s has been a staple in Scottish pubs, restaurants and homes. The Wellpark brewery itself can be traced back to 1556, where Tennent’s is still brewed today – and home to Tennent’s Direct.

Sustainability is rooted in everything we do. Built on a culture of trust, we are committed to doing what’s best for our customers, our people, and the planet. Our recent investment in 16 solar-assisted trucks into our delivery fleet has already cut our fuel consumption by 5% and reduced CO₂ emissions by approximately 100 tonnes annually- just one of the many steps we’re taking to build a greener future for Scotland’s hospitality industry.
